A fantastical library with towering bookshelves lined with books, large stained glass windows depicting cosmic scenes, a spiral staircase, and candle-lit tables.

The Annex is an ongoing collection of essays that explore how books shape our thoughts, challenge our assumptions, and shift the way we see the world. These personal reflections explore the ideas sparked during or after reading. It’s a space for discourse, curiosity, and connection, where books become more than stories, and reading becomes a lens through which we navigate daily life.

Fantasy cityscape with ornate, colorful buildings and glass towers, vibrant birds flying and market stalls with people.

The Gallery is a collection of AI-generated art, born from a desire to see the literary worlds I've never been able to picture in my mind's eye. Using Google's advanced AI models like Imagen and Veo, I create visual interpretations of the characters, scenes, and moods from books that have made a lasting impact. These pieces are personal interpretations, not literal depictions, shared with The Obsidian Library community for the joy of seeing stories in a new light.

A magical library scene with ancient books, glowing orbs, candles, and a wooden desk containing an open book, inkwells, a cup, and scattered papers. The background features tall bookshelves and an ornate window.

Book Reviews at The Obsidian Library go beyond summaries— they explore the deeper ideas, emotional impact, and cultural relevance each book brings to the table. Whether fiction or nonfiction, every review is crafted to uncover what the book says and what it means. Expect thoughtful analysis, honest impressions, and reflections that connect literature to the larger questions of life.
